Track Name: Angel's Landing
I’ve been searching for redemption
From the comfort of the dark
It comes for a fleeting moment
Leaving nothing but a spark

I sought out an Angel's Landing
A sanctuary for a refugee
I searched far and wide through Zion
Looking for some place to set me free

But these rocks will hold me
These trees will break my fall
I can make it all the way
Even if I have to crawl
These rocks were made from sand
Over miles and many years
And maybe they will crumble
But that I cannot fear
I cannot live in fear

There is pain inside the hollows
I pour my own into the cracks
And I don’t know if I can make it
But there’s no way I’m ever going back

All my past and all my vices
Lead me to where I am today
And if I break down on this mountain
Let the wind carry me away

But these rocks will hold me
These trees will break my fall
I can make it all the way
Even if I have to crawl
These rocks were made from sand
Over miles and many years
And maybe they will crumble
But that I cannot fear
I cannot live in fear
Track Name: The Runaway (Take Me, Jamie)
Have a drink, it’s on me
And another one
I like you better when you’re drunk anyway
Let me tell you straight up what I’m doing here
I’ve been running away

Listen, I’ve got some unfinished business
I got blood dripping from my fingers from holding too tight
I got nothing to lose except everything
Gotta let go sometime

Take me, Jamie
Burn all the past away
I’ll be flushing it out before dawn
Keep me going
Time to be moving on
I can’t stay in one place for too long

You seem like you’re a pretty good candidate
Will you ride with me into the night?
‘Round the mountains and long, dusty highways
Sleeping under the stars

I’ll be following sunrise to anywhere
You can cover my footprints before they sink in
Even god won’t know where I’ve been hiding
I just need to be free

Take me, Jamie
Burn all the past away
I’ll be flushing it out before dawn
Keep me going
Time to be moving on
I can’t stay in one place for too long
Track Name: Broken Shelter
Now’s about the time it starts to crumble
Lying on thin ice about to crack
Tiptoeing our way around the rubble
Promise me you’re never going back

I don’t wanna be your broken shelter
While you wait for all the storms to blow away
Are you gonna come out with the sun, coming up
Or leave me here drowning in the rain?

You retract the second things get harder
Answered all the unknowns in your head
Where’s it gonna get you in the long run?
You know the ending; what’s left to be said?

Opening the closet with your arms up
Ready for the tumbling avalanche
Are you going to emerge with some dignity
Or let yourself be buried without a chance?

Who’s battle are you fighting?
What’s it gonna take for you to change?
I am getting tired of cleaning up after your mess
I am not the owner of your pain
Track Name: Burning All My Bridges
I’m burning all my bridges
Burning all my bridges back home
And I’m burning all my bridges
I don’t need anyone
And if you got something to say to me
Don’t bother to call
‘Cause I’m burning all my bridges
I don’t need anyone

I am a hopeful wanderer
The road will show me where to go
And I am alone, not lonesome
Learning to take It slow
Darlin’ don’t worry, I’ll find my way
Though it may be unknown
Burning my bridges and rubber
Coming into my own

I ain’t going home
Gotta answer the call
I ain’t coming back
There’s nothing left at all

I’m going deeper into the west
Where there’s more space to grow
Finding myself in the wild and untamed
Making my new home

I’m burning all my bridges
Burning all my bridges back home
And I’m burning all my bridges
I don’t need anyone
And if you got something to say to me
Don’t bother to call
‘Cause I’m burning all my bridges
I don’t need anyone
Track Name: Roots
I wanna be like a tree
With something holding me
Steady in one place
My limbs are tired from running
All around through the wild
Looking for an escape
Branches bound to break
Home is what you make

Plant me here and now
I have got to spread my roots all around
And when it’s time to leave this place
Dig me an even deeper space
To claim my ground.

Everyone here’s passing through,
Temporarily visiting old memories
Stop by to burn away unpleasantries
Or to wait for better opportunities
Simply floating by must produce a high

Plant me here and now
I have got to spread my roots all around
And when it’s time to leave this place
Dig me an even deeper space
To plant me where I am
I have got to grow my heart in the land
Give me exactly what I need
Make of me a sprouting seed
To claim my ground

I am a tree with abundance of leaves to give out,
A big tall evergreen
I am surrounded by palms, all the same, every day, straight and naked and clean
I know something’s wrong
It’s not where I belong

Plant me here and now
I have got to spread my roots all around
And when it’s time to leave this place
Dig me an even deeper space
To plant me where I am
I have got to grow my heart in the land
Give me exactly what I need
Make of me a sprouting seed
To claim my ground
Track Name: Badwater
Walking through the desert
Lowest of the low
I saw the earth cracking
And I was all alone
I was all alone

No clouds to shield the sunlight
No shade to save my skin
Out in the middle of nothing
Nothing and everything

Everything laid before me
With no trail or path to take
I looked in each direction
Screamed, “Get me out of this place”
Get me out of this place

And just when I almost gave up
The wind howled a forceful song
“Follow me where I pull you
Then you cannot go wrong”
You cannot go wrong
Track Name: Save Me
It is evening, still the sun burning high
Water grabs my feet as I’m running by
And it holds all of me
Breath is warm as are the hands on my throat
I let go as I’m beginning to float
Can you hold all of me?

Can you hold, can you save
Save me from myself?
Do you dare look away
While I let myself decay?
If I trust not in your hand
I don’t know that I will make it
Back to land

We’ve heard whispers that are pulling us down
Just tell everyone that I’m leaving town
Take me in one last time
In an instant all the past rolling through
Fight or flight, there’s nothing that you can do
With the dark surrounding me

Can you hold, can you save
Save me from myself?
Do you dare look away
While I let myself decay?
If I trust not in your hand
I don’t know that I will make it
Back to land
Track Name: Give Me a Home
Oh give me a home
I am set out to roam
Is there somewhere I can belong?
Another bag packed
And there’s no turning back
I’ve only been a guest for so long

And the snow’s coming in
Freezing over the life that I grew
I’m flying south
Oh I wish you could keep me
I had hoped you’d receive me
But I’ll come back when the yellow light
Reflects off the stone

Don’t know where to go
I need some place to grow
With my feet grounded when the wind pulls
Oh how can I leave
These mountains, these trees?
My room’s empty…my heart is full

And the sun’s going down
Setting over my time in this land
Was it ever mine?
Oh I wish I could stay here
There was so much I gave here
But I’ll come back when the yellow light
Reflects off the stone

Home, give me a home…
